So WP = Westport? Just tallying the places I need to point my boat this year. The crap of it all is I have barely learning the OP rivers. Now I gotta learn where and when to target them in the salt.

Nice Chromers by the way! :XX

Thanks and yes WP=Westport--these are from the june opener for kings--never know if it will be on fire or you have to work for them, but they are just right for several steaks and a nice roast. Pretty much all the same size but a great way to start the red meat fishery :D

I only sneak away from the house--

I didn't do that great at Westport just killed the kings at Neah Bay we ended up boating 20 fish over 30 pounds and 4 over 40 a season of a lifetime we had to run far Bluedot Compass Rose were the main Hot Spots also did pretty good at the Whirlpool hole 5 of those kings we caught over 30 and 1 over 40 were immature fish that was unreal to me :D

Charters are usually productive and a good way to learn routes across the bar etc.
Here's one we took several years ago before venturing out on our own.

Found some King pictures from several years ago. Hope to find some more this year. :D

Gear was a green Fish Flash after a Deep Six tipped with a Cpt Downriggin white squid, spin and glo combination for the 1st. Kevin's was caught on a mylar AceHigh fly that I tied up the night before. Mine was a olive hootchie spin and glo. Depths for the last two were about 125'. Hooks were #4 Matsuo sickle hooks that really seemed to do the job.

Solid hook in the mouth visible in the bottome pic. The hootchie/ spin n glo slid up the line- you can see the green spacer beads near the pectoral fin
